Rachel Munnink - Podiatrist

Rachel is a Podiatrist who has predominately worked in private practice since completing her studies at LaTrobe University. Rachel has particular interest in biomechanics and management of musculoskeletal injuries of the foot and lower limb, with a holistic approach when developing a treatment plan with particular focus on footwear, activity, balanced training loads and injury prevention.
She is also passionate about Diabetic foot care management and education. She is a firm believer in early intervention and prevention of complications associated with chronic disease, such as Diabetes Mellitus, whilst encouraging a holistic approach to patient care. Rachel loves working with all patients who are young – and young at heart! She has had much experience treating the ageing community and enjoys management of various conditions such as arthritis and wound management, keeping clients comfortable and ambulatory.
Rachel is a member of the Australian Podiatric Association through which she completes professional development, receiving the most up to date, evidence based treatment.
Rachel keeps an active lifestyle growing up playing netball and dancing. In recent years she has developed a love for Pilates and understands the benefits of keeping fit and eating well.
